The 580 series rifle I have is much more accurate than the old 180 series guns. It has a much heavier barrel and nicer trigger.

From what I have read, these are a bit better and are a bit more refined with some improvements for accuracy.
Accuracy was a focal point of the upgrades and they boast "Ultra Precise Rifling" for "Exceptional Accuracy" and I tend to trust Ruger more than other companies as if it under performs, they will make it right.
This also comes with scope rings and a drilled/tapped receiver (per the manufacturer).
