Heritage Manufacturing lever-action rifles, while offering a modern and affordable alternative, generally are not on par with Marlin and Winchester in terms of quality and reputation. they are not as high a quality as the marlin, Henry or winchester I would also worry abouts parts availability in a few years

Hi Calvin, this is basically a a rebranded Rossi 92, and Rossi has improved their quality over what they were a decade or so back. Both Rossi and Heritage are now owned by Taurus. These rifles are being produced in the Taurus manufacturing facility in Bainbridge, Georgia.
There are no super go fast parts for them and they can use some polishing of internal parts to get them to run smoother.
If you think you will want to be a speedy shooter and win all the buckles, stay away from them. If you mostly want to participate and have a great time the Heritage/Rossi will work fine.
