Hi Mark and welcome back. Depends on you intended use. I went with the AR Rifle first and then the AR Pistol. The platform is identical except for barrel length and the rifle adds another 70 or so fps per extra inch of barrel length for higher muzzle energy, longer distance capability, etc. Either works though, for first choice.
