Hi Greg, I don't believe it is a special run. Not sure why it is not on the Colt web site, but is does have a Matte finish.
The SM in model number ZKCOBRASM3BB is for Stainless Matte.
The other brushed stainless model has SB (Stainless Brushed) in the model number KCOBRASB3BB
