Yes, the new HK CC9 micro-compact handgun does come with a cover plate for its optics-ready slide. This allows you to remove a mounted optic and reinstall the plate to maintain a clean top slide. The slide uses the RMSc optic footprint, which is compatible with a wide range of popular micro red dots, such as many Holosun K-series optics.
When you decide to take the optic off, you can simply reattach the factory cover plate to the slide.
