  • Hello, I was at Bud's range in Sevierville, TN and they allowed lasers to be used. If you are referring to a range besides Bud's I'd call them first. Happy shooting!

  • Sir Juilian,
Whether you can use a laser at the range depends on the specific policies of the shooting range you're visiting. Many ranges ALLOW laser sights or training devices because they are considered safe when used properly, as they do not emit actual projectiles or harmful radiation and it helps allow you to set your sights correctly.
If they prohibit lasers, simply turn it off or leave it stored away. Hope this helps Julian. Please take care and stay safe 🙏

  • Should not be an issue. Never heard of it being one.

  • I've never heard of a Range denying the use of a laser. As mentioned below, I'm pretty positive it will not be an issue.

  • Good afternoon to you!! You should be able to use a laser at the range. I'd call the range you are wanting to go to just to make sure.

  • Hi Julian, laser sights are generally allowed at shooting ranges. I do not see anything in the range rules that prohibit a laser.
