The pictures are either of the gun, or in the case of police trade-ins, one of the guns from the batch. If you are getting a S&W .40 cal, it's probably a police trade. Those will have some holster wearing, but the reliability will be top notch.

Hi Bobby, most used guns pictures are of the exact gun you will buy. The exception is if it is a lot of used guns, like police trade-ins.
If it is a single used gun, the picture should be accurate. The condition should be described in the listing.
