I suggest you consider a professional looking pistol, like a Glock or Beretta. Nothing in designer colors. You want to look like you know what you are doing. If you buy the same brand as your local law enforcement, that will help. You might also consider taking some classes so your draw and stance looks professional as well. Most pistol shooters with training nowadays use the "tac-forward stance". You don't want to look like you learned shooting from watching rap videos.
