  • Good afternoon to you!! The main differences between the Manurhin MR 73 SPORT and MR 73 GENDARMERIE are the sights, barrel length options, and intended purpose. The SPORT model is built for competition with adjustable target sights and a target adjustable trigger, while the GENDARMERIE model features a rounded front sight blade for a smoother draw from a holster, and was originally designed for French police service. Hope this helps. Have a good rest of your day.
