Which is a better 1911 9mm for the price a Girsan or a Tisas and does either one make a double stack with a beavertail, skeletonized, trigger, and hammer with Novak sights an ambidextrous safety controls. And does mecgar mags work in both brands? Thanks y’all.

6 of one, half a dozen of the other. Both have stepped up their game. No double stacks though. Mecgar will work just fine. I have a couple Mecgars I use for my 1911.

I also own both and I agree, the quality is the same! Mecgar mags will work in both. There aren’t any double stack available.

Hi Eric and welcome. I own both a Girsan and Tisas 1911 and the build quality is exactly the same. Mecgar mags work in both brands but no double-stack with the specified options you seek. Cheers and stay safe!
