Hi Walter, if your state requires a firearms ID card (FOID or FID), you will need to upload that to Bud's. You also need to upload your government issued ID, such as driver's license. You only need to do this the first time, Bud's will keep it on file for future purchases.

I suspect that it has something to do with state ammo restrictions. Please repost with what state you reside in and what type of ammo so we can do some research and hopefully give you a answer
