Hi Byron and welcome. Yes. Key Issues and Details:
Unintentional Magazine Drops: Users reported magazines falling out while shooting due to the ambidextrous,, protruding, and easy-to-hit factory magazine release button.
Tight/Hard Release: The magazine release button can be extremely stiff or tight, making it hard to intentionally release the magazine, especially for those with larger hands.
"Fixes" and Solutions:
Aftermarket Parts: A third-party company, Lakeline LLC, produces a single-sided contoured magazine release button specifically designed to prevent these accidental drops.
Grip Adjustment: Users with larger hands may need to adjust their grip to avoid hitting the ambidextrous release.
Warranty Service: Some users have sent their TH10s back to Taurus for issues with magazines failing to stay seated, although some reports suggest long turnaround times.
Break-in Period: The gun may require a break-in period of at least 100 rounds, as some reliability issues (failures to feed/sticking slide) can occur initially. Cheers and stay safe!
Good evening to you!! Magazine problems with the TH10 often are caused by a magazine needing broken in. Taurus suggest 100 rds for breaking in the magazine. Other issues include not locking back with will also improve with breaking in period. The ambidextrous release can stick due to stiffness. Which will also improve with breaking in. Hope this helps. Have a good rest of your day. If this isn't one of your issues please let me know and I will try to issue a solution.

Many Taurus TH10 owners report issues with the magazine release, primarily the ambidextrous button being too easy to press accidentally (causing dropped magazines) or difficult to engage, especially for those with larger hands, leading some to seek aftermarket single-sided or contoured releases for better ergonomics and reliability.
Common Magazine Release Problems & Solutions:
Accidental Magazine Drops: The standard double-sided release protrudes enough that it can be pressed by a hand or gear during firing, dropping the magazine unexpectedly.
Solution: Lakeline LLC offers stainless steel, single-sided, contoured magazine releases designed to prevent this.
Stiff or Binding Release: Some users find the button hard to press, potentially due to internal friction or spring issues.
Solution: Check for any binding plastic in the frame recess or try a lighter spring, or a replacement release button.
Slide Not Locking Back: Some report the slide failing to lock back on an empty magazine, which can be related to magazine catch tolerances or the magazine itself.
Solution: Ensure magazines aren't catching internally; sometimes, slight sanding or milling of the slide's interior (for experienced users) can fix tolerance issues, or try different magazines.
