Hi Holly, Bud's does not specify a timeline, but as long as you haven't taken possession, you should be able to return it. You can have your FFL call Bud's to initiate a return, or you can call yourself 1-859-368-0371 9am-7pm EST Mon-Fri.
Bud's policy states - "In the case of failed background checks and incorrect ordering, original shipping charges are NOT refunded if the item is NOT found to be difective. Customers will be responsible for return shipping in these cases. These orders may be subject to a 15% restocking fee."

Hi Holly and welcome. Glad you got your civil and firearm rights restored. Since you have not completed any paperwork, just contact Buds and let them and your local FFL know your circumstances. as long as you havent done the paperwork on the gun at the ffl just contact Buds 1-859-368-0371 9am-7pm EST Mon-Fri and explain it to them they will get it returned from your FFL

As mentioned, if returning a firearms due to failed background check or other issues not pertaining to issues with the Actual firearm, you'll not be covered for shipping cost and may need to pay a Restocking fee.
