  • I have an extractor that won't go back into the bolt when I try to push it down and put the extractor pin back in. The pin won't go back through the extractor because it won't line up and hold it the extractor in. Called company but can't seem to solve the problem. Wondering if I should just buy another bolt entirely. As long as I buy it from the manufacturer would it still be safe to fire and would it work since the manufacturer does sell replacement bolts for this rifle.

  • I'd get a New Factory OEM bolt. On 1st fire I'd lock it onto a Rifle vise and use a chord to fire. Hey, safety first!!

  • I'd call the company and see if this falls under their warranty. 207-893-2223

  • Hi Mark and welcome. this sounds like a mechanical failure and I would recommend a new bolt. Sorry that the manufacturer was not able to resolve the issue. I would hold off on firing until the bolt is replaced for obvious safety reasons. Cheers and stay safe!
