The 227 has the de-cocking lever other than a mechanical safety correct? I tend to like the de-cocking lever, wish there was one on the 1911.

This is correct on the 227 Scott. De-cock only. It would be useless on a 1911 being SA only you would then have to re-cock the hammer before being able to fire it
