If I accept Gurney's offer for my 9mm pistol (trade with Gurney), can I use the money Gurney offered to cover the 20% to put a rifle on 90 day layaway?

don't see why not John. Just ask Buds directly via the "Blue" Chat now button at the bottom right or Phone at (859) 368-0371 (available 9AM to 9PM EST Monday through Friday).

You should be able to. Cal Buds at 859-368-0371 or use the chat feature on the bottom right of the web page and ask them directly for confirmation.
