Hi Russ, Nope I own this and haven't had any issues with the color.

Other than the actual color being slightly darker than the photo, no complaints reported. Finish seems well done and durable Russ. sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/prodimages/32215-DEFAULT-l.jpg
