James, it should not especially if the pistol is a .357. I would thin fine in a .38 as well. The ammunition recommendation is in the Owners Manual if you already have the pistol. If not I would verify this with Taylor's (Who controls your Warranty) at

I need more information which taylor revolver model and is it a 38 at a 357 if its a 357 .38 +p will be fine
