"I can confirm this true James. Shinier models tend to let you "Buff" out imperfections much easier." Thx. Pretty much what I'd seen implied though not spelled out. Think a full surface moderate buff feasible, changing the luster consistently to mitigate later such issues? All I own came to me blued, phosphatized, traditional polished stainless. Handled a couple ss matte finish pieces and found them appealing to the eye. Vagueness on appearance care and finish durability kept me at a distance.
