Are the picatinny rails remove able?

Charles since the rear sight is integrated into the top rail I don't see any screws for removal. I would verify this with Mossberg at Tel: (203) 230-5300 | 8:00am-4:30pm Eastern or by email contact : mossberg.com/contact-us/ ---- (huntinggearguy.com/shotgun-reviews/mossberg-maverick-hs12-review/)

I suspect that it is removable but I cant find it in writing so I suggest calling Mossberg and verifying Customer service: +1 8003633555
