How is the recoil on the 8.38 inch barrel? How loud is this revolver?
double hearing protection and you need to direct the recoil not fight it plus the dollar cost of each shot is high the recoil will depend a lot on the loads you use some are "tame" and some are 'hot'
It'll be above 130 decibels. And if you don't hold onto it firmly, the end of the barrel will smack you in the forehead when fired.
This revolver with porting is slightly less in the recoil department than a standard 454 Casull which is a hammer in and of itself Talbert. As far as loudness, lets just say never fire with out ample hearing protection!
