I would check with a local FFL to be 100% sure as the CA laws are a mess

sorry its not legal in CA in fact there are no Chiappa firearms on the CA DOJ approved list oag.ca.gov/firearms/certguns?make=All

The above answers are mis information. All single action revolvers are exempt from the roster in CA and are legal for sale as long as they have a barrel of 3" or longer. Which is why the NAA revolvers have to be rostered. All other single actions are good to go.
