Deciding between these 3 revolvers. Price is not a factor. Own model 642/.38spl Airweight, never owned a Ruger. Brutal honesty appreciated. Thanks in advance from Louisville, KY!

I'm a Ruger fan myself. S&W incorporates some of Rugers technology in their revolver designs. S&W may indeed be known to have a more refined finish, but the SP-101 is said to be equally nice in this area. Ruger revolvers rarely need to be sent back for repairs, making them great for first time owners and everyone else. I REALLY like the Ruger Revolvers all out toughness and durability. Added grips are easy to get, and will be needed for the 101 IMO. And the GP-100 is outstanding too! How can anyone say anything bad about an improved Security Six? These are both so nice, I'd buy them both if I could.
