  • I noticed some of the MKIV pistols do not state Single/Double action, instead, they state automatic as action. Are there really two types of actions? If there are two actions can someone explain the difference and benefits of each?
I am also torn between the MKIV and the CZ75 kit adapror. I already own a CZ sp01 tactical which I rarely shoot partly due to 9mm ammo cost. I can't afford both. Can anyone with experience with both state pros and cons, will mainly be used as a range gun.

  • Vincent the Mark IV's including the Hunter are "Single Action" pistols. This Single/Double designation only shows up in Buds description and not other vendors for the same UPC code. My opinion is if you already have the CZ SP01 is to go with the Kit Adapter and use a single platform.

  • I own a ruger MK Iv gun and it is single action If you want accuracy the Ruger will be much more accurate that the sig adaptor and the amount of aftermarket upgrades to the Ruger are almost limitless you can upgrade everything on the ruger
