With some guns you can order the same gun with 10 round mags instead of the high cap models. They're specific to certain states … Mass., Cali, New Jersey state compliance models. But you have to order them that way. I know some Sigs are listed as "10 round" models... same gun. But you would have to order that gun … I doubt any dealer is going change out mags from a factory box.
Hi Chris. Some vendors will do this but not Buds. Buds does not open or modify firearms packages from the way they come packaged from the factory. This is their policy and they will not budge.

Depends on the state law. In Colorado, if the manufacturer ships it with a too-large magazine not allowed by Colorado law, then nobody has the right to switch out the mag to a mag allowed by the law, including the dealer and the user.
