  • I'm over 18 years old, however younger than 21 years old. Would the pistol grip make the minimum age requirement 21 years old?

  • age requirement is 18 as it is still a shotgun (barrel over 18 inches)

  • Gabe, you must be 21 years old to purchase this firearm. It is not classified as a shotgun with the pistol grip by the ATF. Please go to page 2 and read the law under (Pistol Grips and Shotguns) : atf.gov/firearms/docs/newsletter/federal-firearms-licensees-newsletter-november-2009/download

  • Hi Gabe, No, This is still considered a shotgun not a handgun so being over 18 years old is fine.
