This isn’t a question. I’m correcting someone who gave false information. Someone said that the California version doesn’t have a threaded barrrel because it would classify the rifle an assault rifle. That’s 100% false. Obviously, that person doesn’t live in California. The barrel is threaded. I’ve bought 2 of them. I live in California and am part of a couple of pro-gun organizations.

While the threaded barrel is legal attaching a Flash suppressor or flash hider to that barrel is ILLEGAL and most AR-15s with a threaded barrel have a flash suppressor attached " Semi-automatic centerfire rifles that do not have a fixed magazine, but have any one of the following features: o Pistol grip – a grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the firearm. o Thumbhole stock o Folding or telescoping stock o Grenade or flare launcher o Flash suppressor or flash hider o Foregrip – a grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the barrel and in front of the action "
