First off I am a iron sight kinda guy so my experience with mounting a scope is very limited. I plan on mounting a Weaver 1" tube, 4x38 scope to my my Mini-30 582 using the Warne 1RLM rings. My question is this: The objective lens on the scope is 38 mm but the objective bell diameter is 45.5 mm. Will the objective bell diameter of the scope work with the Warne 1RLM rings or should I purchase the Warne 2RLM rings which are taller and would allow more room? I would prefer the medium height.

Edward, You will need the Warne 2RLM for clearance only if your scope has an adjustable Objective on it.

Edward the 1RLM would work just barely. You will need the Warne 2RLM for clearance only if your scope has an adjustable Objective on it.
