its around a 6 lb pull but shotguns for wingshooting and clays do not need a light trigger pull as you "pull the trigger" not "Squeeze the trigger" in regards to the other post where you were told that this would be a good trap gun it will be fine tp play with but it is not a "trap" gun Trap guns are set up to shoot 90% of their pattern high because all trap targets are rising the problem with a field gun like this is to break the target you have to get the gun above the target and then you cant see the target
