how does Bushmaster 90827 MOE 30+1 223REM/5.56NATO 16" stack up to this BCM? This would be a second ar15 purchase for range training n home defense. Is the $300 plus difference worth it?

Michael, I have two Bushmasters and they have held up against my Rock River, Anderson Arms, Stag AR's in function, accuracy and reliability. AR quality has improved across the board in recent years. They are more close quality wise than they were a few years ago. That $300 plus will get you a case of practice ammunition.
