Any ammo problems with Ruger Security9

I am purchasing a Ruger Security9 in the next few days. Does anyone know of any particular brand of ammo that people seem to have more problems with when using this pistol?

mine will shoot everything I get the least expensive 9mm I can find locally

Hello David, I hope you got it figured out. Most brands should run well. Maybe the cheaper steel cased ammo will have some problems. Hope that helps!

David, the Ruger Security has been tested with a large number of ammo ranging from fmj to wide hollow point ammunition without issue. Just stay away from steel cased and use brass cased ammo and you will be just fine.

Hi David, It's the cheaper ammo. I would add a aftermarket magazine to fix that issue.
