I note buds has the hammerless LCR for about $100 less. Is there any other difference between the LCR and LCRx justifying this higher price?

Nothing about the pistol itself William. There are many more of the "Hammerless" Model in stock which has the price much lower than the lower stock "Hammer" Model. Always buy at peak stock level to save $ on firearms at Buds.
