  • 1. I thought layaway was free. How can I become a "team bud" member in order to save on layaway?
    2. Please excuse my misunderstanding, but would I pay 20% od the $852.00 price? Thank you (James?)

  • by buds new policy layaway is free for the 1st 30 days then they add a $10.00 fee for day 31-60 the there is a $15.00 fee for Days 61-90 "The layaway plan is very simple to use. Just place your order online as you normally would, and select 'LAYAWAY' as your payment option during checkout. Upon receipt of your non refundable 20% deposit (personal check, bank check, money order or credit card), we will secure your firearms(s) from our inventory and activate your 90 day Layaway Plan. There are no fees during the first 30 days. A $10 fee will be added to layaway orders that remain open after this initial period. After 60 days, an additional $15 fee will be applied to your balance. During the Layaway period, you can either make multiple payments, or just make one final payment at the end, at which time we will ship your firearm(s). ******Active Team Buds members are allowed 2 open no fee layaway orders at a time" budsgunshop.com/catalog/layaway.php

  • Hi Donald, layaway used to be free. Buds recently changed this policy by charging $10 after the 1st 30 days of the layaway and $15 after 60 days of layaway. This is the $25 fee if you see. Currently there is no "Team Buds" membership required to put this pistol on layaway that I see at the moment. You can also check out the benefits/cost of TB membership here : budsgunshop.com/catalog/teambuds.php

  • Yep, better to pay the $10 fee and get the layaway out before the 60th day than to buy the 1 year TB membership at $29.95. Starting to nickel and dime seems like to me.
