  • For man/70ys old/good shape with average sized hands - does double stack pose a grip/control issue. Or should I stay with single stack?

  • Murphy, a single stack will almost always allow you to close more of your hand muscles around the grip (the real reason many states are against pistol gripped rifles). This naturally gives you better muscle control off the bat. I would take a stroll down to the local guy's and check out a few double stacks just to see if you can find one that suits your hand.
