Can someone tell me what the difference between a .45 ACP and a .45 AP is? I read that its only a manufacturer thing that they don’t want to acknowledge Colt but the 5” SA Rang Officer says ACP but this one says AP.

it is a Upgraded officers size version of the Springfield Range officer 1911 ELT COMP = "Elite Compact

This is an officer size frame with a 4" slide, thus the 6 round capacity. The Elite Champion is the full size grip/4" slide model.

It is a compact 1911 made by Springfield. Nice carry pistol.
