Although its a very light rifle (6.65 lbs) , its just a standard 4140 chromemoly barrel.

Mostapha, This firearm has a standard M4 cut barrel. It is not a pencil barrel, but the M4 cut does help reduce some weight. 16" 4140 chrome moly, melonite-coated
