Let me try this again, I bought a replacement spring kit with 30/19 springs for my new vaquero. I bought the gun here new
the info below is from Wolf springs...
Reduced Power....: 15, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 Lb.
Factory Standard..: 23 Lb. (Reference Only)
the spring in the gun was smaller (shorter and thinner) than the 19 lb spring to replace ?
is it possible they sold me a used gun?

no it is not possible that buds sold you a used gun however there were 2 versions of the Vaquero, the original was on a full size Blackhawk frame the newer guns are on a smaller lighter frame I would contact wolf and make sere you have the correct spring kit Orders & Technical Support: 800-545-0077
