One of them is listed as double action and the other is listed as semi-auto. I thought the only difference was one has the additional thumb safety

Steve, the sole difference is the 415002491 has a "Manual Safety" and the 415002490 does not.

They're both double action only, and both semi auto, they just typed them differently in description, only difference is thumb safety., not sure why you deleted the first question after you got your answer, we are Volunteers and it helps if you select the best answer for you and not delete questions after you get the answer as we are rewarded on a point based system and every question counts, also, someone else could have the same question..
