is this an actual suppressor? Is it not illegal to buy or sell? I want.

Denmon, yes, it is an authentic Suppressor. You would just have to pay the $200 Tax Stamp and do the NFA paperwork to acquire this legally. Buds will assist with this at : budsgunshop.com/catalog/NFAGuidelines.pdf
