Dionagelo, This is a super bolt action rifle. has nice features and accurate. If you are a new shooter you might want to look at a 7.62 or 308 caliber. Love the 6.5 CRD round. Have several, but if just starting 6.5 is expensive. 7.62 or 308 less expensive, accurate to several hundred yards, great for hunting. You would be happy with this specific firearm as a beginning shooter if you can afford rounds to get good with it. Takes about 200 rounds to season barrel and get good with the rifle.
