  • The Shotgun choke On my over under is fixed at improved modified and extra full. Can they bore out the choke to make it a little more open. The way it is now is not great for skeet

  • Hi Thomas - It is possible to 'bore it out' a bit. One can also have the barrel machined and threaded to accept choke tubes. A good gunsmith could probably do this for you, and there are several different companies on the internet who will do the work. It would probably run around $100 for the 'bore job', give or take. .

  • Boring out a barrel is done a lot on skeet guns If you decide to stay with fixed chokes I would suggest boring them to light mod and Mod. Briley MFG is who I would suggest they can bore them out or install choke tubes briley.com/

  • Determine if your gun has chrome lined barrels and then contact a gunsmith. Chromed barrels are a problem to re-choke. Buying an extra set of barrels for the gun may be an option too.

  • Thomas, yes, there are companies that offer this service. Briley is a great example : brileygunsmithing.com/c-879-full-list-of-shotgun-gunsmithing-pricing.aspx
