Can i put a .36 caliber 3 inch barrel and cylinder on a .44 army snubnose frame since they are the same gun but different caliber

Dwitt, yes, but they will need to be fitted. The cylinder timing will be off on the .36 Caliber without proper fitting and the cylinder to barrel line up would be off. A good gunsmith can do this easily.
