Damon, as for the differences between models there are several changes added to the newer model: Nitrated slide & barrel finish, forward cocking serrations, new trigger design, new hammer design, carry bevel on slide and frame (rounded corners/edges),i nterchangeable backstraps (S, M, L), metal 3-dot sights, no lanyard loop on mainspring plug, new finish on magazines, and upgraded magazine spring and base retainer. As for there still being stocks of the old model, I highly doubt Buds' will get more in stock since it is no longer being manufactured and CZ production usually lags far behind demand even for new models.
