Any suggestions for a high quality custom kydex or leather IWB holster for this revolver?
Thank you

Mark, I highly recommend S&W Guru Holsters(I have one for my S&W J-Frame 357 and OWB for Glock 20) at : sw-guru.com/smith-wesson-model-986/holsters

Mark - I found this one, which looks god, and has excellent reviews. I also like the fact it has snap loops rather than clips, to secure it, as I've found clips seem to fail at the most inopportune moments and loops have never let me down. I'm personally partial to leather over kydex, and especially for such a nice gun as the 986. craftholsters.com/open-muzzle-iwb-holster-p79 Or of course one could go the custom route. I've heard good things about Red River holsters in Tennessee (rrtholsters.com) for kydex ... and Tuckergunleather.com has a good reputation. Good luck in finding the suitable 'nest' for your wheel gun.
