Marc, I would ask Buds if this was a mistake or are they purposefully sanitizing legitimate reviews based solely on them being negative. This would not be a helpful practice to customers if so. The slide and frame fit was off by 1/4 " ????? Really?

Marc, BUDs does have review police. I have had many of my product reviews held up for days after I posted review. BUDs sends an email to let you know. If any profanity or real disparaging remarks they will not post it. They do review all reviews. Hope you caught it before the transfer and returned firearm or at least bought BUDs guarantee and returned it.

I ordered a Colt Gold Cup last year. I looked it over at my FFL and found it to be a total rattle trap compared to a Dan Wesson I have that cost the same. I returned it for a refund. I wrote a review, but it never displayed. Perhaps if you return an item, it blocks you from reviewing it. I gave a 3 star review to another gun recently, no problems there. I don't believe Bud's deletes reviews, but they do moderate them.

I have never seen a slide to frame fit off by 1/4 inch (.25) so I'm not surprised they did not take it seriously. A video or picture would be the best way to prove this and you did not say that you did that.
