Kyle, no Sir. The built in mount is already at the "Co-Witness" height.

Assuming, Kyle, it is going on a flattop AR receiver rail, then no, you don;t want a riser. It will line up with the standard sights as it is.

There is no way of knowing that without knowing what you are mounting it on. I would say no if you are putting it on a flat top AR.
