My new Stoeger Condor top lever does not return to center. It sits a little to the right, is this normal?

David - This is completely normal for a newer gun. As Randy said, as it wears with use, it will get closer and closer to the center position when released. I think they actually engineer them this way, just to ensure a good solid lock-up
David, this is normal. I thought it was supposed to return to exact center buy it does not. I verified this with Stoeger November of last year.

the lever will go further to center as the lock wears when it gets to the center the gun has had a lot of rounds and is getting close to time to have the lock rebuilt. the wedge of the lock goes deeper into the slot as it wears
