  • Richard C. answer seems incorrect to me. Item shown has the model no. ending 501 which supposedly IS an M2. Bud's title says it IS an M2. Note Picture shows grip logo has small "M2" in front of CCP which
    is correct for an M2 version. Hope this helps

  • Jon - If my memory is correct, the M2 version eliminated the need for a take down tool. According to the model number on this pistol, it is not an M2 version, but the basic CCP model. M2 versions have a model number in which the last three digits begin in "5", as in "5080501" ... The models with the last digits starting with a "3", as the model number (as on the pistol you referenced), are the "CCP" models.
