  • Aaron - Wish I could offer some encouragement. But here is what Connecticut prohibits: Semi-automatic rifles with a detachable magazine and one or more of the following features:1.Folding / telescoping stock 2.Pistol grip 3.Bayonet mount 4.Flash suppressor 5.Threaded barrel 6.Grenade launcher 7.Magazine capacity exceeding 10 rounds Any Semi-auto, centerfire rifle that has or accepts a magazinewith a capacity exceeding five (5) rounds is prohibited to any person under twenty-oneyears of age. .22 Rimfire rifles that are semi-auto with detachable magazines and any two of the following features:1.Pistol grip 2.Folding / telescoping stock 3.Bayonet mount 4.Flash suppressor 5.Threaded barrel .... No upper or lower AR receivers. Here is a .22 caliber that is listed as Connecticut compliant: budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/5689/s%26w+m%26p+15-22+spt+22+18+blk+10 Here is another: budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/5258/m%26p+15-22+sport%e2%84%a2+ct%2c+md%2c+nj+compliant Both are .22 caliber. Other than that all I can do is suggest you visit some local Connecticut gun stores, and see what help they can provide. I certainly wish you luck. Other than that ... I can refer you to a good realtor here in Missouri, and you can move to a "free" state.

  • Aaron, until local laws change, CT has declared war on semi auto versions of assault "Type" firearms. Many details here : cga.ct.gov/2013/rpt/2013-R-0241.htm
