Rachel - yes it does come with a scope, a Nikko Sterling diamond 4-16X50. You might be OK with the scope, as it gets mixed reviews - like many, those who bought one are happy with it, while many trash it pretty heavily, but with this rifle, you might well be wanting to put away a few bucks somewhere to buy a better scope down the line - just in case it doesn't perform up to the capabilities of this fine rifle. . But, it will get you started, and give you time to evaluate it. If things aren't working out, after you try some different ammo to see what works best in the rifle, you may well be wanting to change out the scope in the future. This rifle is capable of 1/2 MOA groups .. so you want to make sure your scope is as good as the rifle. Very nice rifle.
